We featured the 2000 as a wine of the month selection and as hard as it is to believe the 2001 is even better!  Plums and cherries jumping out of the glass with hints of chocolate and vanilla and a beautiful silky, long finish.

Jean Rijckaert Cotes du Jung Vielles  Vignes ($14.99)                                                          

If you look up the definition of White Burgundy, this bottle’s picture is next to it.  100% Chardonnay is drips, minerally and delicious.  Rijckaert was the man behind Verget Burgundies back in the late ‘90s. 

Chatau Haut Rian White Bordeaux Sec 2001 ($7.99)                                                      

Possibly the best white value in the store, a blend of 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon, with hints of apples, herbs and a long smooth finish.  The is crying out for fish or cheese.  A Beaut!

This is a fruit bomb!  100% Nebbiolo with tons (understatement) of fruit upfront, loads of body and a great lingering finish.  A must try!
